Not familiar with Online Therapy?
Online therapy or "teletherapy" allows you to meet with a therapist in real-time via a secure video platform similar to Skype or FaceTime. While some online platforms offer therapy via email or text messaging, I only offer online therapy through a live video platform as I believe it allows for greater connection and best replicates the in-office experience.

..But How does it Work?
It's easy! We use a secure, HIPPA compliant platform. When you receive your appointment reminder, you'll also receive a link you will use to log on to your virtual session. You can sign in from your computer, tablet or cell phone. No need to download an app or any software!

It's Convenient
No driving, biking, or dealing with parking. As long as you have a solid internet connection, you can log on from anywhere you feel comfortable.

It's Comfortable
Many of my clients have shared with me that they've enjoyed being able to create their own "safe space" at home to participate in therapy. I encourage clients to grab their favorite blanket, a cub of coffee, or their *unofficial* emotional support pup to join them for the session. It's all fair game and allows us to practice creating a sense of calm in your own environment.

How do I know if it's for Me?
Online therapy works well for lots of people, but it doesn't mean it's for everyone. One thing that's vital is ensuring you have a safe, private place to talk. If this isn't the case for you, feel free to reach out! I'm also happy to offer my free 15 minute consultations via video so you can get a little preview of what online therapy may feel like for you or your teen.
